Terms of Service

Welcome to My Language Playground ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our website at mylanguageplayground.com and enrolling in our programs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and purchase services on behalf of yourself or your child. By creating an account, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. If you sign in using Google, you authorize us to access certain Google account information as described in our Privacy Policy.

2. Enrollment and Payments

All program fees must be paid in full before the start of a session unless a payment plan has been explicitly agreed upon. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By providing your payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees. All prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to modify program pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect sessions already paid for.

3. Refund and Cancellation Policy

We understand that circumstances change. Our refund policy is as follows:

• Cancellation 7 or more days before a session: Full refund issued.
• Cancellation 3–6 days before a session: 50% refund issued.
• Cancellation less than 3 days before a session: No refund. The session may be rescheduled at our discretion depending on availability.
• No-shows: No refund will be issued for missed sessions without prior notice.
• Program packages: Refunds for partially used packages are calculated based on the per-session rate for sessions already completed, subtracted from the total paid.

To request a refund or cancellation, contact us at hello@mylanguageplayground.com. Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.

4. Program Participation

We are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for all students, parents, and teachers. We reserve the right to remove or suspend any user who violates our code of conduct, engages in abusive behavior, or disrupts the learning environment. In such cases, refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

5. Google Services Integration

Our platform integrates with Google services including Google Sign-In, Google Classroom, and Google Calendar. By connecting these services, you grant us permission to access and interact with your Google data as described in our Privacy Policy. You may revoke these permissions at any time through your Google Account settings. Revoking access may limit certain features of our platform.

6. Intellectual Property

All materials provided during our programs — including but not limited to lesson content, worksheets, videos, and platform software — are the intellectual property of My Language Playground and are protected by applicable copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our materials without our prior written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that our platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We make no guarantees regarding specific learning outcomes.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Language Playground and its affiliates, employees, or agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use our services. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

9. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the jurisdiction where My Language Playground operates.
